Meeting a Few Friends and Family

We only stayed in the hospital the remainder of Thursday then went home Friday so we didnt have very many guests visit.  You better believe that Erin had everything lined up to get there asap.  Again, as I always say, she was right there to help with anything.  Taking pictures was her main job and she did a great one at that!
Courtney also made her way right up to the hospital when she got the news.  She actually came to say hi while we were in recovery but came back later with the whole fam.

Callie brought Brinley a "Big Sister" gift of a Hello Kitty backpack.  She loved it and wore it around the rest of the weekend.
Callie has been talking about Baby Cason for a long time now and she was so excited to finally meet him.  I picked Brinley up from BSF the day before my induction and the teachers asked me if I was going to have a baby tomorrow.  I said, yes, did Brinley tell you?  They said, No, Callie did!  She was a little shy at first but eventually warmed up enough to hold him.  So sweet.
Carson also got a turn at holding Cason.  He is such a loving kid.  Carson Blake and Cason Blaine...didn't plan that!
We also got visits from both sets of grandparents that are close enough to get there quickly.  Ree and Nonna were surprised when they got the news that Cason was here but it took them no time at all to boogie up to the hospital to meet their 3rd grandson this year- actually in the past 4 months!  Cason is going to have so much fun with his cousins.
Papa and Bebe had Brinley but came in a little later so she could have some alone time with us.  They were in love!
After the last of our visitors left that day, we hunkered down with our little man, enjoyed some Taco Bell and watched the Vice-Presidential debates.  Perfect way to spend our one night in the hospital!
Next post- heading home!
