Meeting Big Sister Brinley

After we got into the recovery room and got everything situated, we called Dad and told him to bring Brinley up to meet Cason.  We wanted her to meet him as soon as possible.  She came in by herself- and let me just say that there were leggings with that dress and she didn't want to wear.  It's a wee bit short! 

And I hugged and kissed my sweet girl.  I had missed her so much!

And then she saw him for the first time.  The "little buddy", "little guy", and "brudder" she had been asking about for so long.  She was kinda quiet and shell shocked.

But then she was so sweet and loving, just like the Brinley we know and love. 

Then it was time to hold him.  What a precious memory.

Then it was time for the fun!  Cason had brought Brinley a gift bag full of fun stuff to do at the hospital and back at home.  She had been wanting a Jasmine doll for a long time and he searched high and low and found one.  She was so excited.  What a brother!

A true big sister at last.  I how I love both my sweet babies!
