While Brinley was away at Mimi's, Rocky and I got to enjoy 2 date nights! One night we went to the Movie Tavern to see Dinner for Schmucks (I would give it 3 1/2 outta 5 stars) and eat some "bad for you" food like fried pickles and french fries...yum!
Our second date night was a gondola cruise on the Las Colinas canal. My mom had purchased it for us for our anniversary so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use it!

It was a pretty fun way to spend a night. Neither one of us are very cheesy or romantic but we enjoyed ourselves!

Our gondolier (sp?) offered to sing us a tune but we both felt awkward about it so we never took him up on his offer. Instead, we sang our own tunes like "What is love, baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more" while rocking the head bob...and then we felt sorry for ourselves because that song was made before our gondolier was even born. Then we (I) got a little artsy with the camera-

So Fun! Chase and I did that same gondola cruise a long time ago and it was definitely akward when the gondolier sang to us. We had to try and refrain from laughing so good call on your own tunes, ha ha!

Hahahaha! First of all, so happy you had some time to yourselves and second of all, the song you selected to replace his sappy (juivinile) singing was perfecto! I could totally picture it! You guys are so cute together!
