I was so excited for Brinley's first Christmas to be a white one. I mean really, how perfect could it be? We were supposed to be home but ended up staying at my Grandparents house in Ft. Worth because we didn't want to drive in the snow. It made for the perfect wintery backdrop, but we didn't have snow gear for serious play. We did however have a cute little Christmas dress that got no wear because the Christmas Eve service was cancelled, so we just took pictures. And we couldn't leave off our famous reindeer hat to keep that noggin warm!
It wasn't Brinley's first time to see snow, but it was her first time to touch it. She liked it for a few minutes until she realized how cold it was! We put her on a bread tray that looked alot like a sled. She probably would have enjoyed a little ride but we refrained from that child's play for this year.
Brinley has seen more snow now than alot of people have seen in their life time! Can't wait until the day we can really play in it and make snowmen together!

No, never found it. Some lucky person who was at the Gaylord Ice Exhibit has one red baby boot. Maybe they lost theirs and needed a mate.
