Our first celebration was with Ree and Nonna and the gang. It was the first Christmas on the farm and we had a great time as usual! One of the most exciting things were the new cousins! 3 out of 4 siblings had babies this year. L to R- Elijah Layne 3 months, Cason Blaine 2 months, and Parker Lance 6 months. It was a very different year but so much fun! I cannot wait to watch these boys grow up together.
We didn't open gifts til the afternoon because we had a photographer come out and do a photo shoot. It was the kids gift to Royce and Donna. I love the way the pics turned out- it was especially nice to have some of our family!

After the photos we opened gifts. Needless to say, Brinley was excited about her new helmet, outfit, and tennis shoes from Ree and Nonna!
Brinley and Cason both scored new kicks...well actually we all did! It was a tennis shoe Christmas!
We also all got matching Santa hats.
That evening we just hung out. Nonna gathered supplies for a gumdrop tree for Brinley to make. It was so cute! Branches with thorns, gumdrops, and ribbon. She had a blast!
The guys did a little hunting. Rocky has never fancied himself as a hunter but he was just going along for the ride.
Well, the next thing you know, he is coming home with his first kill! A wild hog! Only Rocky would actually be able to kill something the very first time he ever goes hunting.
It was a great way to finish off another fun filled McChristmas!
