Our second Christmas celebration was at the Lake with Nan and Dee.
We arrived late Friday night- just in time to get the kiddos into bed. Rocky snapped this pic of them sleeping by one another. Brinley had somehow rolled completely off her pallet and was drawn to Cason like a moth to a flame. So sweet!
Corey and April arrived on Saturday and we had a quick lunch then got right to opening gifts. Brinley took the reigns of present and stocking distributor.
She also took the responsibility of opening Cason's gifts and explaining them to him.
We all got our traditional lottery tickets- even Cason and Brinley. We start em early in the family! Too bad there were no big winners this year.
We also each got an ornament. Brinley's was Curious George and Cason's was a "My 1st Christmas". I love this tradition.
Brinley and Cason's big gift from Nan and Dee was this awesome swingset. We have been missing our big tree swing in Coppell so this fills that void perfectly! They even came and installed it in the
football field backyard. Thanks Nan and Dee!
Bob and Gail came down to celebrate Christmas with us. It was Gail's first time to meet Cason and I think she was a fan. We had a great weekend!
