Becky and Aaron's Couples Shower

Becky and Aaron are getting married on Thanksgiving weekend. I love sweet Becky and I am especially invested in this wedding because Brinley is going to be their flower girl! So, the Yale gals got together to throw them a couples "around the clock" backyard bbq shower. Fun!It was another theme-tastic party for sure! Turquoise, red and white check, and clocks everywhere! The shower was held at Lucy's parent's gorgeous home. They had the perfect backyard for our party!
Each table had popcorn and kettle chips for snacking before and during dinner.
And gorgeous flowers in my new vintage aqua mason jars! (thanks Mom for hunting them down!)
We had a drink station outside with beer, bottled, waters, a spiked cherry limeades.
The limeade was served in mason jars with lids, on ice, so you just unscrew the lid, pop in a straw and enjoy!
Inside, the food table was decked out with more thematic decor and a delicious dinner of pulled pork sliders with all the trimmings, corn on the cob skewers, cole slaw, baked beans, deviled eggs.
A true southern feast!
Again, my role in the menu was dessert. Clock and heart monogram sugar cookies,
bundles of twizzlers,
and cherry hand pies!
For entertainment, we had Aaron and Becky take off their shoes and each hold one. Then they stood back to back and we asked them a series of questions about each other. They held up the shoe of the one they felt best fit that question. This answer came when we asked who loves to watch football more? Explanation, Becky loves college ball and Aaron loves pro!
They are so cute and happy together!
We finished off the evening in the backyard under the twinkly lights...enjoying each other and our cherry limeades!
Congrats to the future Mr. and Mrs. Stevens!
