John's Graduation

This past weekend, my little brother John graduated from Baylor with his masters in healthcare administration. He invited the whole family down to Waco to his hooding ceremony. His sweet girlfriend Kalyn also planned a surprise graduation/birthday party for him beforehand at a local mexican restaurant. It was lots of fun! We drove down with Memo and Pop since Rocky would not be able to get off work in time to make it to the party. Mimi arrived early to get some good playing time in with Brinley.

Memo and Pop with his bandaged nose from a minor surgery the day before. Wear your sunscreen, people!

My great aunt Vondee, Granny, and great aunt Mary Lou came to the party but were roped in as Brinley's babysitters during the hooding ceremony!

Bebe and Papa were there and Bebe also got to partake in the babysitting responsibilities later that evening!

Brinley enjoyed the deliciousness that is queso for the first time, and she practiced her counting skills eating chips while waiting on John to arrive.
SURPRISE! I don't think he knew any of this was coming. Way to go Kalyn!

Here's the whole table minus a few people that arrived a little later. We are so blessed with such a wonderful family!

I made this cake for John. Yummy!

After the party, we dropped Brinley off at Mary Lou's and headed to the hooding ceremony.

We are so proud of you, John!

Kalyn was quite proud as well. Awww...

Here's my whole family minus Rocky who was being photographer!

Posing...

Reality...hahaha

And here's another poser...David stepped in for the busy graduate. From first glance it is hard to tell them apart!

It was a late night for Brinley but she had a great time and did really well with Mary Lou, Vondee, and Granny. When we arrived she was ready to give hugs and head home!

It was a whirlwind trip but oh so fun and special to be able to be with all of my family in one place. Congratulations Master John!
