Easter Saturday

Today we headed out to Lake Lewisville to meet up with Daddy Roy, Nonna, and the rest of the McAdams gang. We had a fun time rv hopping, chatting, eating, and celebrating Easter together.

The Easter Bunny had already stopped off at Daddy Roy and Nonna's rv and brought Brinley a basket full of goodies. I think her favorite item was the fabulous little purse. It even matched her outfit!

This face says it all on how she felt about her new accesory.

Then it was out to meet all her new adoring fans. Look at them- just watching and cheering for her every move! Seriously, Brinley was not starved for attention for one minute today...and she ate it up!

She got to meet her great uncles and aunts and some cousins for the first time. Uncle Milburn and Uncle Ronald introduced Brinley to their Easter Bunny.

Aunt Ruth got lots of practice with Brinley because she is going to be a grandma to a baby girl in June.

Aunt Peggy set up an easter egg dying station, which of course I was all over. Here is Brinley's very first dyed Easter Egg.

She did it all by herself- you know her handwriting is impeccable.

After we decorated the eggs, the Easter Bunny came and took them away to hide them. So we headed off to Brinley's first Easter Egg Hunt! Daddy Roy tried to get her to test out her walking feet but she wasn't too interested.

At first, Brin was quite timid with the eggs. She didn't want to pick them up no matter how close Rocky got her to them!

Still not going for it...

Ok, so we'll just hand you the first one.

Soon enough, she got the hang of it and seemed to be having fun.

But by the time she warmed up to it, the bigger kids had already gotten most of the eggs. So, we had to plant a few obvious ones for Brinley to get her fair share.

Yay for Easter eggs!

After the hunt, we ate a delicious dinner. Uncle Korey and Auntie Macie showed up just in time!

Brinley loves her Auntie Macie!
For dessert Brinley got her first taste of the delicious legend that is Donna's peach cobbler.
Um, yes, I'll have another bite! Yummy!

It was a fabulous day and a fabulous way to spend our Easter Saturday!
