Here's the back view of the hair. Not bad if I do say so myself!
This girl loves a little makeup! And so did this little gal. I think it was her first time!
My finished beautiful little Belle!
Once the princesses had been pampered we headed to the Magic Kingdom! Little dolls!
Cason didn't need the pampering but he definitely needed a costume. What else would a 1 year old be other than Prince Charming! It's amazing what you can do with a glue gun!
He charmed the ladies all day!
But he didn't get the noble and dignified memo. Crazy boy!
Our first stop of the day was breakfast at Cinderella's castle. Once our name was called we ascended the royal staircase to meet the princess in the flesh!
She was so sweet and my little princess was smitten!
Prince Charming played hard to get. I am not sure why he didn't like her very much!
We entered the royal banquet hallAnd had a seat at our reserved table!
The princesses started rounding after the ceremony. Our first visitor was Snow White!
Aurora aka Sleeping Beauty.
She loved Cason and he was flirting it up with her!
Ariel, or The Little Mermaid
And Jasmine!
After our yummy breakfast we had a special delivery made to Princess Brinley. A chocolate glass slipper filled with chocolate mousse!
Our travel agent April had set this special treat up for Brinley and she loved it so much. She felt so special that day. All the waitstaff called her Princess and her favorite prince of all made sure to stake his claim as well! What a fun morning!
Since we were all dressed as Belle and Prince Charming we went on to Enchanted Tales with Belle. It's a neat little deal where all the kids there have an opportunity to play a part in the Beauty and the Beast story. Brinley was chosen to be Chip and she was so excited. You can't tell here though because she was taking her part very seriously.
After we got our parts we were ushered into Belle's library and she entered in all her yellow dressed glory. She talked with Lumiere the candlestick and began to tell her story.
Brinley did a fabulous job as Chip!
Photo Opp! This was one of the most fun things we did at the Magic Kingdom. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
After Belle's library the girls were ready to make an outfit change into something more comfortable. It had been raining all morning.
Prince Charming was all tuckered out from all his flirting and took a good little nap in the stroller. He did so well the entire time with napping in the stroller. I am so thankful because I thought we would have to take turns taking him back to the hotel for naps. He was a flexible little champ! I guess it pays off to be the second child.
Our next scheduled activity was to meet Rapunzel in her tower. Brinley was looking forward to this meeting most of all!
She puts her hands in her mouth when she is nervous. Meeting one of your childhood idols must be a nerve racking experience!
But Rapunzel was soooo sweet and friendly with her. These characters really impressed me the entire trip.
Rapunzel always has a friend with her and today it was Snow White. We had already met her at Cindy's castle but we were glad to talk with her once more.
When we got back outside, Prince Charming had been awakened from his slumber and was enjoying all the puddles immensely! What a little heart breaker! Everyone kept asking me where I got his shirt. If I had thought ahead I would have made a bunch and sold them because I didn't see anything like them in stores. Come on Disney, get on board and make the boys a costume!
LOVE!
Cason wasn't interested in riding anymore at this point so we actually let him walk a little bit. He didn't get much walking time because it quickly turned into running away from Mom and Dad time and the crowds were just too thick and the pavement too slick.
We rode a couple more rides but I honestly can't even remember what they were now! Haha, But this is a good chance to point out our rain ponchos. A very important packing list item. These things saved the day and when it dried up we just chunked them.
While we were walking around we saw Beast's castle on the hill in the distance. We knew there was a restaurant in it but we thought the reservations were impossible to get. Emme's favorite character was The Beast so Jeremy decided to just go to the reservation stand and see if we could get in. And guess what? We did! We were all so excited so we got the girls dressed back up in their ball gowns so we could eat and meet the Beast!
My beautiful little Belle!
His castle was so neat and just like the movie. Brinley Belle loved it.
All the details were present- even red napkins folded in the shape of roses!
The food was sooooo good for everyone. While you wait for your food you can get up and look around the castle.
The rose was displayed in it's glass cloche.
There were statues of the Beast and Belle
And after dinner we got to meet the actual Beast! This is the only place where you can see him. Brinley wanted no part of it but Cason loved him!
He wouldn't stop hugging him. It was hilarious!
After dinner we decided to head back to the hotel for baths and jammies and an early bedtime for Cason. Rocky agreed to stay back with him so The Walkers and I could take the girls to see the electrical parade! We packed these glow stick crowns from the dollar store and the girls loved them. Again, this was a great way to save some money!
We got some ice cream and settled in. This is such a fun parade!
Cinderella began and ended our day today. And what a great day it was!
