A few Sundays ago we dedicated Cason before our new church family. He was a dapper little gentleman in his seersucker bowtie. :0)
It's actually not a new church family to me but it is for our family. I grew up in First Baptist so standing before all those people that have known me most of my life and poured into me and prayed for me as a teenager was really awesome.
We were also blessed to have all our biological families represented by having almost all the grandparents there!

Dr. Christopher was my pastor growing up and he is so loving, kind, and a true servant of God to his congregation. After he introduced us and gave Cason his verse,
he took Cason on a walk around the sanctuary to meet the members. Cason did great, I was a little worried he would cry when he took him from me.
He prayed over us and then had us vow to the congregation and them to us that we would raise Cason in the ways of the Lord.
It was a blessed day and one I am so thankful for. We love our sweet little man and pray everyday that the Lord would make him into a man that fears and honors him. Thank you Jesus for the precious gift we have in both children.
Children are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Psalm 127:3
