Last week we had BBQ and took bluebonnet pics with the gang. Dinner took a little longer than expected, and by the time we got to the bluebonnets, a certain little girl had a major case of the sillies.
Even with serious bribing using smarties, there was really no hope for a genuine, precious smile.
"Here, Brin, lay in the bluebonnets and let Mommy take your picture!" Nope.
Even Rocky was stumped. And let's not mention my camera that requires full light to take a non-blurry picture.
But when I got home and started looking at my pics again, I found this little jewel. Wish Rocky was in it!
Even though Rebekah tried to get a good family shot and sent this to me, it's just not frame worthy.
So for this year, we are just going to go with our latest motto- it's about capturing the memory, not the perfect photo.
And these pics definitely capture the memory of our silly, energetic, twirling little lady. Turquoise Converse and all. :0)

gosh, brinley looks old in these pics! i am sorry you are dissapointed, but when you look back on them in a few years, they will bring a smile to your face for they are capturing a moment that is fleeting! i do love the one of you and brinley!
