A Long Awaited Playdate

After many months, we finally were able to make it to a playdate with our long lost playgroup. We are kinda spread out all over the metroplex, some of us are working, and the kids are in different activities, so it makes getting together much harder. I am so glad we made the effort- it was lots of fun to see those kiddos again!
Brinley doesn't remember most of the kids, since it has been so long since we have seen them, so she was very happy as always to see her Ava Wava Woo Woo.
Hugs for friends!

We headed upstairs to Tyler's awesome playroom and Brinley and Carter were immediately drawn to the fun riding toys. She really wanted Carter to get tired of the John Deere tractor, but he wasn't going to any time soon...

So she settled for a few minutes of fun with the barn.

But a little while later we were all downstairs and Brinley was no where to be found. I finally discovered her up in the playroom getting her turn on the tractor. Look at the joy on her face!
We came back up and the red wagon was Brinley's new obsession. Mrs. Vaughanie helped her in-
and boom! The look on her face here is priceless, it's like she's saying "what just happened?"

Well, a few minutes later Brinley left the wagon and Madison took a turn. This did not sit well with the Brinsters.

We threw a little crying fit for about 5 minutes- such a proud moment for me as her mother. She is finding out that sharing her favorite things isn't much fun. Oh sweet girl, such a hard lesson to learn!

Mrs. Vaughanie helped again by suggesting the CAT tractor by Ava and all was better. Thanks for saving Brinley from "Mean Mommy", Vaughanie. haha :0) We seized the moment and tried to capture the photo opp of our 2 girly girls in dresses on tractors.
We realized that Madison needed in the girl pic, so she wheeled over...
and fell prey to the wagon. Another one bites the dust! Poor Madison, that looks really scary!

After all the toddler drama, my little gal was worn out and ready for nap. It was a great way to spend a morning- I am so thankful for fun friends and playgroups!

I know I shouldn't laugh at my own child's expense but that last picture is hilarious! You caught it just right, poor Madison. Great seeing you guys!

Oh my goodness, poor Madison! Those pictures are super cute though. We need to get together more often, so Brinley remembers the kiddos!
