Yay green! Yay gold! Yay Bumblebees! Go, go, go!

This weekend we headed south to visit Daddy Roy and Nonna in Temple. We were especially excited to cheer on the Academy Bumblebees on Friday night. Brinley had her outfit ready for weeks and was excited to show off her green and gold tutu. She was pretty darn cute!

She got to go down on the field to meet some of the cheerleaders during halftime. Unfortunately, we missed the Bumblebee mascot because she was performing in the band.

It was too cold to stay in the tutu all night, so we switched over to an extra sweater, a warm hat, and mittens by the second half.
This outfit change, a tasty bottle, and a cozy warm blanket prompted a nice nap for the fourth quarter. Sad to say, the Bees didn't win this one, but we were still really proud of our Daddy Roy!
The rest of the weekend we just hung around the house, watched football, ate lots of good food, and entertained Brinley. Here's her new "open mouth smile". It just says joy!

Daddy Roy brought out lots of these smiles with funny faces, songs, and noises!
We took a walk and Brinley rode facing forward in her stroller for the first time. Such a big girl!
She liked it so much that she slept for most of the walk!
It was another great weekend!
