Branson Part 2

The next day we visited the amazing Sight and Sound Theatre to see the production of the musical, Joseph.  It's a beautiful theatre and only shows musicals based on biblical stories and characters. 

Brinley was excited to see the live animals.  It was a great show, I highly recommended it if you ever visit Branson.

Brinley has decided to rebel against the family picture. 

Nan and Dee fell into the "hold my hand" trap and ended up swinging Brin all the way back to the car.  I don't think they minded though.

That evening we went to a new part of town called Branson Landing.  It has lots of shops and restaurants lining the river with a fountain and a walkway.  We had a great dinner then fed the ducks and fish.

The next day our big activity was "Riding the Ducks".  A "Duck" is a half bus half boat that takes you on a little tour then for a ride on the lake. 

You get a fancy duck quacker with your ticket to ride. 

We drove right into the water!

Brinley and all the other kids on board had an opportunity to drive.  I didn't think she would do it, but right when he offered, she was ready to go. 

It was a fun little experience for all of us!

The rest of our trip was spent reading,

golfing,

 coloring,

 playing games,

swimming,

and just having fun as a family.  It was a great little summer vacation and we are so glad we were able to go!
