We just had to go over to the Seamans' house so the girls could do a little trick or treating and we could do a lot of picture taking. These two best buddies were so cute last year so we had to continue the tradition. We started out with some innocent coloring and playing with Ava's toys.
Who is ready to go trick or treating??
We made our way outside and the girls practiced knocking on the door, but then it was time for the real thing.
Precious costumes...check! Treat buckets....check! A trick or treating buddy...check! Now let's go!
House number one- Brinley walked right up confidently, but the moment they opened the door, she ran and wanted no part of it.
But she sure was eyeing Ava's candy.
House number two took a little forcing from Mommy, but we were successful!

And she really loved putting candy in her bucket. Then she tried to share it with Daddy and Mikey. What a sweetie.

She enjoyed it so much she kept going back...

until her little palms were completely full of candy! Good thing the neighbors were sweet grandparents and loved indulging Ava and Brinley with as much candy as they could hold.

We had to leave after that fun experience so we could get back to our neighborhood before dark. We visited the neighbors and got more candy after a little milk night cap.

Our neighborhood friends Maddox, Seth, and Asher stopped by to say hi. They were all tired and sugar loaded from their church's trunk or treat.
