It didn't take Brinley long to rope Erin in to reading all her books and giving her lots of attention. It was like Christmas for Brinley at her Uncie J and Auntie Erin's- one thing Erin had was the app called "Talking Carl" on her iPhone. Brinley loved it!
She even thought she had a spot created just for her in their bedroom!
Uncie J was really excited about this doggie that he picked out for Brinley. Her name was Violet and she was a big hit. We can even program it on our computer to "take me home and I'll learn your name and some of your favorite things!"
We had a lazy Sunday morning at home that started off with yummy donuts. Uncie J bought Brinley her first sprinkle donut. We thought she would devour it but she actually didn't. I guess it was too sweet- is that possible?
It was so great to spend the weekend together just hanging out as a family, even if we weren't in our home.
Brin loved looking at herself in this eye level mirror.
On Sunday afternoon we headed to their neighborhood pool for a little splash time.
The water was really cold but the Mc family braved the waters to have some fun.
Brinley loved dunking the ball in the basket- we saw some great potential!
We also worked on throwing the ball. Right now when you ask Brinley to throw you a ball, she walks over and hands it to you!
After all that playing we stopped for a rest and a snack. Erin was ready with the camera to catch our bathing beauty!
Brinley found the pool toy box and loved putting on lots of diving ring "bracelets". She was sooo pretty.
Monday morning we just hung out a little more around the house. This is how Brinley spent alot of time with her cousin dogs Ivy and Winnie. We never really got any pictures of them together because Ivy was obsessed with licking Brin's face! I guess she was just too sweet not to kiss!
We got a little stir crazy in the house so we went to the neighborhood park.
Brinley showed Daddy her new skills and bravery by climbing the steps and going down the slide.
Our little "Cautious Cathy" has never wanted to go down the slide before but she tried it this weekend and loved it!

We ended our park visit with some quality swing time. I think Daddy enjoyed this just as much as Brinley. It brought my heart much joy to watch them playing together!

Then it was time to hit the road back home. We had such a relaxing fun weekend. Thanks for the hospitality, delicious food, and priceless friendship Erin and Jeremy!

So glad you had a wonderful weekend with that special family! k';[pppp';/.i0, teehee, bekah just hit the computer while I was typing, guess that's what bekah thinks about your post!! ( Ha, did you think it was my "friend?") Actually, the whole time we were looking at your post, she just kept saying, "bow, bow!" She sure knows her friends and their cute trademarks!
